Well my brute has been shown up nearly twofold. Here's a unicycle that came out of PSO that makes it 324 on big air, amidst front-flipping self-destruction. I kid you not.

I feel like this is as good as this particular build will get, but I wouldn't be surprised if another uni could be the first to complete big air.

Achieved via SUPERVISED PSO. I would hit next for every car when a body piece touched the ground. Settings were .121, 1.193, 1.193, took about 1000 2-car generations over the course of several simulations, occasionally switching up selective pressure and letting them tumble to see if they would self-right (as the :15.36 did). My seed for style 1 was my Gap record, for style 2 was my Big Air record (all tracks have different starting ground heights though, so they don't perform as well at those courses anymore). For style 1, the optimum distance before ground contact was ~335, due to wobbles at ~240, so the last 50 came down to spectacular finishing. For style 2, the optimum distance before ground contact was ~351, so there was less ground to cover, but the design didn't lend itself to grace like style 1. Plus, it was marginally slower at the 300 mark than style 1, due to a slightly smaller wheel, so I didn't deem it worth finishing. I have yet to find a style that stays off the ground through 385, otherwise I would have posted it, but I feel that it should beat the current 2-wheel speedway record. I project style 1 finishing in :14.4 if it hadn't tumbled.

Feel free to improve on these, I want to see the :14.66 mark topple at the hands of a unicycle!

I like this car; balancer on the hills. I thought it wouldn't work, but this is a promising 272.4! By this point, the sensitivity to initial conditions is practically beyond the precision of the simulator. The range of chromosomes that reach this point only vary in 1 letter with physical significance, so there isn't much to work with past here.

Stays off the ground until ~248, then slides to 272.4 in :20:

Good news and bad news. Found one! Max wheel size, 595 torque, it and its variations stay up past 385, this one leans at the right moment to beat the others by a nose.. in :14.90. Unicycle record but not overall record. Only took about 280 2-car generations from a decent 185 point seed.

I got this car when it evolved from a crashing one. This car's body is TINY, smaller than the wheel(the wheel covers the body) But it acts just like the hill completer unicycle.
